It all started when…

I was at Leland High School in San Jose, CA during lunch when I saw it. A booth with a black table cloth with the words “Academy of Art University”. I rushed to the table and grabbed a couple of souvenir pens and talked to the representative. The word ‘art’ intrigued me and I knew deep down this was the college I would go to someday. In 2009 I moved to San Francisco, CA and completed my 5 years in the Advertising program pursuing a focus in Art Direction. My dreams came true and I got the golden ticket. The photo above was taken on my senior year and turned into a street sign by the university that still stands today.

From there life took me to Sacramento, CA, where I would build the foundations of my career over 10 years. I landed in the field of Graphic Design from the start and had the pleasure of being apart of many different organizations in that time. With a professional tool bag full of knowledge, mastered skillsets, and a leadership torch in hand I continue to support the Sacramento area in brand and marketing strategy. In the cracks of my time I also freelance and have done so for many brands local and nationwide.
